June 11, 2024, Inchelium, WA – Inchelium Cemetery Fire is located approximately 1.5 miles northeast of Inchelium, WA. Fire Size: Approximately 3 to 5 acres. Level 2 evacuations exist from Hemming Road to FDR Lake Road. Residents should be ready to leave at a moment’s notice. PUBLIC SAFETY MESSAGE: Please stay out of the area so firefighters can work safely.

Lucy F. Covington Government Center will be closed in observance of the Executive Order Day July 3 and Independence Day July 4, 2024.

  • Tribal Court will be closed July 3-5, 2024, resuming regular scheduled work July 8th. Any emergencies call Tribal Dispatch at (509) 634-2472

  • THE PARKS & RECREATION DEPARTMENT RESPECTFULLY REQUESTS ALL FOLKS LIGHTING FIREWORKS IN DESIGNATED AREAS. PLEASE CLEAN UP ALL YOUR DEBRI AND DISPOSE OF AT THE NEAREST TRANSFER STATION. YOUR COOPERATION WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED

  • THE NESPELEM COMMUNITY CENTER WILL BE CLOSED WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY, JULY 3RD AND 4TH  AND WILL REOPEN ON FRIDAY, JULY 5, 2024 FROM 7:30am to 4:00pm. ALSO CLOSED SATURDAY AND SUNDAY, JULY 6TH AND 7TH AND WILL REOPEN MONDAY, JULY 8, 2024.
